Hi everyone,

Here's something a lil more rawer than my usual sets.. This is a collection of 20 IRs that i made this summer while testing tubes in the first tube preamp i 'made' (i added an ef86 stage to a RCA ba2C pre + a saturation mode with a 6ak5).. It wasn't meant to be released as is, but i shared it with one of you today, i listened to them briefly and decided i'd release it as it is.. I'm sure you can find something useful in that..

I spent the whole summer hunting for tubes and transformers, i built a tube microphone, this tube mic preamp, i sold a couple of preamps, and i built two rs124 compressors, which are really amazing. It was my fav compressor itb for years, and i think the hardware version is much more useful with the harmonic distortion it adds, it makes placing a bass so easy..

I've gathered a lot of stuff to make IRs from, one of my next candidates is the amazing Yamaha D-1500 digital delay. It's from 1984, and it has a beautiful sound, it adds low end in a beautiful way in 'pass mode' and its modulated delay is super deep... I can't wait to make stereo IRs of it, i usually stereo it with time based modulations, that way it will be only the real thing! I'm sure a lot of you will enjoy having that in the computer as well!
